The Duke Ellington Center for the Performing Arts, Inc., and the American Tap Dance Foundation, Inc. present ELLINGTON ON BROADWAY
Songs from the hit musicals Play On and Sophisticated Ladies, Mercedes Ellington, Tony Waag and The Duke Ellington Center's Big Band conducted by Frank Owens, join together in honor of this legendary icon of American Jazz with performances by vocalists Marion Cowings, Ty Stephens, and Andrea Wright, and special appearances by tap dancers AC Lincoln and Karen Callaway Williams.
